When did people start reading sooooo much into children's fantasy books? When I first read the Chronicles of Narnia I was about 8. I've read it many times since then and still can't see what the critics of the new movie are going on about. I know the rumors have been around since it was first published but this is getting ridiculous! AAAAAHHHHHHH, it's just a story and should be fun for kids and escapee adults alike. That's my rant over, thanks for reading

I remember having to do a diorama on Narnia when I was probably 8 or 9 for a school assignment. I made it out of the standard shoebox and used a yellow plastic mold of a lion I'd gotten from a machine at the zoo Don't remember much about the book but I think I liked it at the time.

Nah, pretty sure it disappeared years ago. A diorama is sort of a miniature 3D scene. Typically it'd be a school assignment to make one of a scene from a book you'd read. So you'd get a shoebox for the "stage" and then shove things like little plastic figures or cotton balls or whatever else into it until it looked about like you wanted. More fun than writing a book report!
